About The Position

Oklahoma Surgical Hospital (OSH) is a physician-owned facility committed to providing superior personalized healthcare while embracing the highest quality standards in patient care, clinical outcomes, and patient experiences. We are looking for teammates who are passionate about doing things “The OSH Way”. This is a full-time position for a Certified Surgical Tech to work Monday - Friday, 6:30a - 5:00p with a rotating day off. There is some call required which is typically 2-3 days a month, with 1 weekend call every 6-8 weeks or so. This position comes with full-time benefits. The Certified and Non-Certified Surgery Tech hold safety sensitive positions and provide aid in functions that help the surgeon carry out a safe operation with optimal results for the patient. He/she understands the procedure being performed and anticipates the needs of the surgeon. He/she has the necessary knowledge and ability to ensure quality patient care during the operative procedure and is constantly on vigil for maintenance of the sterile field. OSH offers an insurance plan that covers 100% if you use an OSH or Premier Family Care provider. OSH offers discretionary quarterly bonuses to all full-time and part-time members. OSH has a free fitness center on site for all employees to use. This position has been identified as a safety sensitive position.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited surgical technology program.
  • Certified Surgical Techs require certification through NBSTA upon hire.
  • Current BLS certification required upon hire.
  • Must be knowledgeable and demonstrate competency in current Surgical and Sterile procedures that are unit/age specific.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous surgical tech experience preferred but not required.
