About The Position

Schedules all surgical procedures and assures that all of the appropriate clinical and insurance coding information is collected for the surgery schedule. The Scheduler receives requests from surgical service lines to schedule procedures and schedules the procedure according to established guidelines. Responsible for ensuring all necessary resources are available for surgical date.

Requirements

  • High School Degree or Equivalent
  • 3 years of work experience
  • Continuous standing, sitting, walking
  • Continuous bending at the waist
  • Continuous gross motor use (fingers/hands)
  • Continuous reaching in all directions
  • Continuous repetitive motion (hands/wrists/elbows/shoulders)
  • Continuous full use of both legs
  • Continuous corrected vision 20/40 (one or both eyes)
  • Continuous recognition of objects (near/far)
  • Continuous depth perception
  • Continuous peripheral vision
  • Continuous hearing acuity (with correction)
  • Continuous tactile sensory function
  • Continuous gross motor with fine motor coordination
  • Continuous olfactory (smell) function
  • Continuous respirator use qualification
  • Continuous effective stress management
