Administrator - Surgery Center
About The Position
Are you an experienced healthcare operations leader ready to take ownership of an Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) and drive clinical, operational, and financial excellence? We’re seeking a Surgery Center Administrator to lead day-to-day facility operations, partner with physicians and governing leadership, and build a high-performing environment focused on quality, patient experience, and sustainable growth. This executive-level ASC leadership opportunity has broad responsibility across operations, quality, finance, and facility performance. You will work closely with physicians, medical staff, governing boards, facility leadership, and corporate leadership, with direct influence over financial performance, staffing, patient experience, quality, and operational strategy. This role offers the opportunity to identify and develop service-line growth and operational improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Nursing, or related field
- Demonstrated healthcare leadership and operational management experience
- Direct Ambulatory Surgery Center leadership experience strongly preferred
- Hospital Surgical Services leadership experience with ASC exposure will also be considered
- Experience working with physicians, medical staff, and governing boards
- Strong understanding of healthcare operations, financial performance, staffing, quality, and regulatory compliance

Responsibilities
- Direct daily administrative, clinical-support, and business operations of the surgery center
- Oversee staffing, workforce planning, employee performance, operating budgets, and facility performance
- Build strong relationships with physicians, medical staff, and governing boards, serving as a key operational liaison
- Drive quality, patient safety, infection prevention, regulatory compliance, and accreditation readiness
- Monitor financial and operational performance while identifying opportunities for sustainable growth and improvement
