About The Position

Our specialty services include Cardiology, Dermatology, Internal Medicine, Oncology, Surgery, and Emergency and Critical Care, with two ABVP Diplomates. We have a rotating internship and specialty surgical internship program. The hospital is equipped with 3 Ultrasound units, video endoscopy, thoroscopy, laparoscopy and arthroscopy equipment, ventilators, expansive anesthetic and critical care monitoring devices, a 64 slice CT scan, 2 digital Xray units, Ligasure vessel sealing equipment, in-house laboratory, underwater and land treadmills, therapeutic laser, ultrasound, EMS, TENS and complete blood products. This is a classic beach town located in Broward County, between Ft. Lauderdale and Miami, offering the best of both beach and city life with opportunities for fishing, swimming, kayaking, relaxing, nightlife, museums, and sporting events. We offer access to a network of specialists within VCA.
Requirements
- A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree, from an accredited university or equivalent
- Licensure in good standing to practice in (state), or the ability to obtain
- A commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding the veterinary code of ethics
