About The Position

The selected candidate will be subject to drug and alcohol testing in accordance with FAA regulations under 14 CFR Part 120 and 49 CFR Part 40.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Basic computer skills, including the ability to navigate electronic work instructions, enter production data, and utilize company systems as required.
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow technical work instructions and specifications.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Ability to use measuring tools and inspection equipment as required.
  • Ability to wear required personal protective equipment, including respiratory protection.
  • Ability to perform physical activities such as standing, bending, reaching, and repetitive motion throughout the shift.
  • Must be eligible to work in a regulated aerospace manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to comply with all FAA, safety, quality, and environmental requirements.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous industrial, aerospace, automotive, or manufacturing painting experience.
  • Experience operating spray-painting equipment and working with aerospace coating systems.
  • Experience working within a NADCAP-accredited special process environment.
  • Familiarity with FAA-regulated manufacturing operations.
  • Knowledge of AS9100 quality management systems and aerospace documentation requirements.
  • Experience reading engineering drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare aerospace components and assemblies for painting through cleaning, masking, sanding, and other surface preparation methods.
  • Mix, apply, and cure paints, primers, and specialty coatings in accordance with engineering specifications and process requirements.
  • Operate spray-painting equipment and related tools safely and efficiently.
  • Inspect coated parts to verify compliance with quality standards, specifications, and customer requirements.
  • Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, process sheets, and technical instructions.
  • Complete production, quality, and traceability documentation accurately.
  • Maintain painting equipment and work areas in accordance with company safety and housekeeping standards.
  • Identify and report nonconforming materials, products, or processes.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and participate in audits as required.
  • Perform all work in compliance with FAA regulations, company procedures, customer specifications, and NADCAP-accredited special process requirements.
