Requirements

High School Diploma or GED.
Basic computer skills, including the ability to navigate electronic work instructions, enter production data, and utilize company systems as required.
Ability to read, understand, and follow technical work instructions and specifications.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Ability to use measuring tools and inspection equipment as required.
Ability to wear required personal protective equipment, including respiratory protection.
Ability to perform physical activities such as standing, bending, reaching, and repetitive motion throughout the shift.
Must be eligible to work in a regulated aerospace manufacturing environment.
Ability to comply with all FAA, safety, quality, and environmental requirements.

Nice To Haves

Previous industrial, aerospace, automotive, or manufacturing painting experience.
Experience operating spray-painting equipment and working with aerospace coating systems.
Experience working within a NADCAP-accredited special process environment.
Familiarity with FAA-regulated manufacturing operations.
Knowledge of AS9100 quality management systems and aerospace documentation requirements.
Experience reading engineering drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

Prepare aerospace components and assemblies for painting through cleaning, masking, sanding, and other surface preparation methods.
Mix, apply, and cure paints, primers, and specialty coatings in accordance with engineering specifications and process requirements.
Operate spray-painting equipment and related tools safely and efficiently.
Inspect coated parts to verify compliance with quality standards, specifications, and customer requirements.
Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, process sheets, and technical instructions.
Complete production, quality, and traceability documentation accurately.
Maintain painting equipment and work areas in accordance with company safety and housekeeping standards.
Identify and report nonconforming materials, products, or processes.
Support continuous improvement initiatives and participate in audits as required.
Perform all work in compliance with FAA regulations, company procedures, customer specifications, and NADCAP-accredited special process requirements.
