About The Position

This role involves the setup and operation of various surface mount technology (SMT) equipment, including pick and place machines, stencil printers, and reflow ovens. The position also requires manual component placement, quality inspection of populated circuit boards, and routine machine maintenance.

Requirements

• Minimum of three years of experience operating SMT equipment
• Good working knowledge of IPC-A-610 workmanship standards
• Ability to read and comprehend process documentation including Bill of Materials and Assembly drawings
• Ability to communicate well, both verbally and in written format
• Component identification ability required
• Candidates should be very organized with the ability to keep count of parts
• Candidates should have the ability to carry out detailed written and verbal instructions

Responsibilities

• Setup and operation of surface mount pick and place machines
• Setup and operation of automatic and semi-automatic stencil printers
• Setup and operation of mass reflow ovens
• Perform manual component placement and inspection
• Perform detailed quality inspection of populated circuit boards
• Perform routine machine maintenance
