Requirements

  • Strong Academic Performance and Relevant Coursework (e.g., Principles of Finance & Accounting).
  • Previous Work Experience (corporate environment or otherwise) showcasing skills and work ethic.
  • Involvement in Extracurricular Activities demonstrating teamwork, leadership, time management, and passions.
  • Roles or projects demonstrating leadership, creativity, and proactive problem-solving.
  • Additional training, certifications, or workshops enhancing qualifications.
  • Participation in volunteer opportunities highlighting collaboration with diverse teams and community contribution.

Responsibilities

  • Support the evaluation and recommendation of underwriting cases involving significant financial amounts.
  • Analyze financial statements and other data for prequalification of bond submissions.
  • Develop relationship-building skills through client-facing activities and interactions.
  • Gain a foundational understanding of the surety bond industry and risk analysis.
  • Assist in creating training materials and suggest process improvements.
  • Utilize advanced technology in the underwriting process.
