About The Position

This role provides leadership and strategic oversight for Williams' 24/7 corporate security and executive protection programs, ensuring continuous protection of employees, facilities, assets, and company leadership. The position is accountable for maintaining a highly trained and operationally ready security organization, directing around-the-clock security operations, assessing and mitigating risks, coordinating protective measures for executives and critical events, and strengthening emergency response capabilities. Through collaboration with internal stakeholders and external partners, this leader drives a proactive security strategy, ensures compliance with applicable standards, and advances continuous improvement across security, protective services, and incident response functions.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to obtain and maintain all armed-security licenses, firearms qualifications and other credentials required for the assigned jurisdiction and duties
• Exhibits excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and deems safety an utmost priority
• Demonstrates aptitude and ability to embrace technology and applications to drive operational efficiency and streamline processes
• Must possess valid State Driver's License and clean driving record
• Knowledge of executive protection, close-protection principles, protective operations, and dignitary security practices
• Experienced in armed security operations, incident response, threat assessment, protective intelligence, workplace violence prevention, and security compliance requirements
• Ability to conduct advance planning, travel security assessments, venue evaluations, contingency planning, and risk mitigation activities
• Demonstrated leadership skills, including employee supervision, scheduling, coaching, performance management, incident documentation, and handling sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality

Nice To Haves

• Four (4) years of experience in executive protection, armed security, law enforcement, military protective services, physical security, dignitary protection or related protective operations
• Two (2) years of leading or supervisory experience in related field

Responsibilities

• Leads, schedules, and supervises personnel supporting a 24/7 armed security operation, ensuring adequate staffing, shift coverage, operational readiness, and continuity of security and protective services while coaching employees and managing performance
• Directs armed security force, incident response and escalation to protect people, facilities and assets within assigned areas
• Evaluates reported threats, suspicious activity and security concerns; recommends and implements proportionate protective measures in coordination with appropriate internal and external partners
• Coordinates advance planning, route and venue assessments, transportation security, contingency plans and protective coverage for executive movements and events
• Ensures team members maintain required licenses, firearms qualifications, training, equipment readiness and compliance with security policies, use-of-force standards and applicable legal requirements
• Conducts post-incident reviews, drills, inspections and performance reviews; identifies vulnerabilities and recommends improvements to protective procedures, staffing, equipment and response plans
• Other duties as assigned
