Requirements

  • Current State Respiratory Therapist Licensure.
  • RRT Licensure required or CRT, RRT eligible with 15+ years of experience.
  • BLS, ACLS certification.
  • PALS, NRP, Blood Gas Technologist certification within 90 days.

Nice To Haves

  • 2 years supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Works with Manager of Respiratory Therapy, Director of Critical Care and Hospital Administration on planning, organizing and directing Respiratory Therapy Services operations and ensuring compliance with all local, state and federal regulations
  • Makes rounds in department and clinical areas to judge effectiveness of operation, utilization of personnel and supplies, and general ethical and professional atmosphere
  • Secures and maintains the department, equipment and supplies which are required to carry out effective patient care and create an optimum physical environment.
  • Carries on continuous analysis, evaluation and audit of Respiratory Therapy Services.
