About The Position

The Supervisor, Operations is responsible for site warehousing and transportation functions as a first-line supervisor within the operating company. The role includes recruiting, safety and compliance, food safety measures, training, and ensuring proper management of operations departments. It may also oversee manufacturing or processing functions where applicable. The supervisor manages an established operations budget, plans for future growth, and implements changes as needed to accommodate business needs. The role also functions as a team member within the department and organization and performs assigned duties to best serve the company.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• 2–4 years of experience in operations within the foodservice distribution industry, overseeing warehouse operations and/or a processing facility, with solid knowledge of food safety regulations.

Nice To Haves

• 4–6 years of experience in operations within the foodservice distribution industry, overseeing warehouse operations and/or a processing facility, with solid knowledge of food safety regulations.
• Supervisory experience.
• OSHA forklift operator certificate.
