Requirements

Experience working with mental health populations, particularly with developmental disabilities or mental illnesses
Willingness to work with children and families in the community or their homes.
Clinical awareness and sensitivity, including a belief that individuals with developmental disabilities can be meaningful participants in our community.
General skills and knowledge of local human service resources
Ability to facilitate small groups and work effectively in a team environment.
Demonstrated competency in computer skills using electronic health records and Microsoft Office.
Ability to comply with all applicable licensing rules, accreditation standards, code of ethics, insurance reimbursement rules, and Judson Center’s policies and procedures.
Valid Michigan Driver’s license with a good driving record.
A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a human services field and one year of experience with individuals with developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities

Facilitates consumer integration within their communities.
Coordinates support and ancillary services for children.
Develops and monitors individual service and support plans outlining support services to be provided, providing referrals for ancillary services, and care coordination to assist children and their families.
Demonstrate knowledge of and actively support culturally competent recovery-based practices and that are person centered.
