In this role, you will coordinate service delivery for clients, manage grant‑supported programs, maintain community partnerships, and ensure compliance with program guidelines. Requirements

  • High school diploma with courses in typing or business practices; AND
  • At least one (1) year of experience in community service or property management; OR
  • Completion of accredited Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) training
  • Successful completion of background check including criminal record, driving record, abuse/neglect, and fingerprint check
  • Must complete New Hire Orientation at the beginning of employment
  • Must complete all required training, including Relias, at the beginning of employment and annually thereafter
  • Current driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and current auto insurance
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse workforce
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Proficiency with GoogleDocs, GoogleSheets, GoogleSuite, and/or Microsoft tools
  • Ability to exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and perform minimal lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling
  • Frequent use of hands, fingers, and arms for typing and writing
  • Primarily sedentary work with most time spent sitting, with occasional walking or standing
  • Must meet all criteria for sedentary work as defined, with only occasional walking and standing required

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and maintain accurate, compliant Shelter Plus Care client files to support effective service delivery
  • Perform annual Housing Quality Standards (HQS) inspections for assigned units, ensuring client safety and program compliance
  • Participate in Coordinated Entry, Balance of State CoC, and other community meetings to support collaboration and resource sharing
  • Provide LIHTC property management assistance, including leasing, marketing, tenant relations, and maintaining compliant tenant files
  • Respond promptly to telephone and email inquiries, ensuring timely and supportive communication
  • Organize and coordinate resident functions as outlined in the Supportive Services Agreement
  • Support maintenance processes by helping oversee work orders, make‑ready activities, and efficient unit turnovers
  • Conduct property inspections and generate maintenance lists as needed
  • Manage rent collection, notices, purchase orders, receipts, and deposits in accordance with policy
  • Cultivate positive resident relations by supporting understanding of lease responsibilities and resolving concerns professionally
  • Maintain and update parking permits, resident communications, newsletters, and service request follow‑up
  • Conduct unit visits, semiannual inspections, and all required annual HQS inspections
