About The Position

KenCrest is seeking a Supported I/DD Employment Specialist to support its Employment Program and Leadership Team. The Employment Department helps consumers through the process of finding and maintaining gainful employment. This mobile, independent position is suited to someone who is self-motivated and able to work one-on-one with individuals with disabilities. Experience with self-employment or entrepreneurship, systematic instruction, and/or teaching is relevant to the role. The position provides on-the-job training, builds relationships with community employers and individuals served, identifies strengths that can contribute to success, and encourages personal choice and decision-making. The role is hybrid, mobile/remote, full-time, and has a flexible schedule that may include days, evenings, and weekends. Requirements

Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent.
Valid driver’s license.
Minimum of 2 years of driving experience.
License, registration, and insurance must match the candidate’s state of permanent residency.
ACRE Certification, or completion of the certification within six months of hire.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or a related field.
Experience working with the I/DD population.
Experience with self-employment or entrepreneurship, systematic instruction, and/or teaching.
