About The Position

Kentucky River Community Care (KRCC) is seeking a full-time Supported Employment Specialist for their Breathitt Outpatient office. This role focuses on assisting clients with mental health challenges in their pursuit of employment, in collaboration with the Office of Vocational Rehabilitation and community businesses.

Requirements

• High School diploma/GED and relevant work experience.
• Ability to enter information in an electronic medical record.
• Dependable, reliable, and highly organized.
• Ability to work well with adults who experience mental health problems.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Ability to utilize computers.
• Collaboration skills with community partners and area businesses.

Responsibilities

• Assist KRCC clients who are seeking employment in collaboration with the Office of Vocational Rehabilitation.
• Complete all required documentation on a timely basis.
• Maintain good relationships with community businesses.
• Obtain all required continuing education hours and trainings.
• Attend assigned meetings.
