Supported Education & Employment Coordinator
About The Position
Mountain Home seeks a full-time Supported Employment & Education Coordinator (SEC) to provide clients individualized supported employment and education services using the evidence-based Individualized Placement and Support (IPS) Model. The SEC will partner with clients to identify and achieve competitive employment and educational goals while collaborating closely with and integrated behavioral health treatment team. This position will develop relationships with employers, educational institutions, and community partners to create opportunities that match each client's strengths, interests, and preferences. The majority of work is performed in the community through direct client engagements, employer outreach, and collaboration with community partners.

Responsibilities
- Engaging clients and establishing trusting, collaborative relationships directed toward the goal of competitive employment and education in community settings.
- Supporting clients in employment and education services, including intake, engagement, assessment, job placement, education placement, coaching, and follow-up support.
- Assisting clients with applications for services through Vocational Rehabilitation and Blind Services (VRBS) and maintaining and collaborative relationship with VRBS to support shared clients in achieving competitive employment and educational goals.
- Transporting clients to and from job interviews, jobs, and/or school-related activities.
- Participating in team meetings and communicating with the team to coordinate services and generate ideas to help participants achieve employment or educational goals.
- Spending half or more of total scheduled work hours in the community, establishing relationships with employers, educators, and clients.
- Providing special assistance to the SEP Supervisor in further development and implementation of the IPS program.
- Meeting regularly with your supervisor and attending required meetings and trainings.
- Maintaining reliability and dependability through a commitment to schedule and tasks.
- Other appropriate and job-related tasks as assigned
