The Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities (SE&TC) Life Cycle Engineering (LCE), Space & Airborne Systems (SAS) department is seeking a Supportability Analyst to design product support strategies, author technical operation/ maintenance instructions, and deliver training to end users. This role is onsite in McKinney, TX.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM)
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
  • This position requires 12 months or less of relevant professional work experience (excluding internships)

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with radar and/or electro-optic/infrared (EO/IR) technology
  • Ability to analyze technical documentation and training materials while working independently and collaborating across multiple engineering disciplines.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and presentation skills, with proficiency in Adobe (Acrobat, Illustrator, Photoshop, FrameMaker, etc.) and Microsoft Office 365 applications.
  • Familiarity with HTML and XML and integrated logistics support database applications (i.e., EAGLE LPD and EAGLE EPS)
  • Experience in Technical Illustrations and Graphics development.
  • Training Specialist Certification, or equivalent training expertise, with a self-driven approach to ownership of training.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with DoD customers and international partners to optimize products and solutions in support of achieving maximum Operational Readiness and compliance to contractual requirements as well as establishing open communications and building trust.
  • Create and maintain technical manuals, including content addressing system functional theory, operations, preventive and corrective maintenance, schematics, and illustrated parts breakdowns, utilizing system product information, compiled technical reports, drawings, and parts lists.
  • Research technical documentation, engineering personnel input, and other subject matter experts to design effective learning and documentation solutions.
  • Develop and maintain operations and maintenance training technical content, including presentations and accompanying materials.
  • Assess engineering change data for impacts to existing technical content.
  • Deliver instructor-led classroom training to stakeholders as required.
  • Conduct training sessions and assist in evaluating the effectiveness of training activities and materials.
