About The Position

We are pleased to announce we have an exciting opportunity here at Potens for a Support Worker. Please note that sponsorship is not available for this role. Parkside Lodge is a small residential service based in Bensham, close to Gateshead City Centre. Providing specialised support to 10 adults with mental health needs.

Requirements

• A background in Mental Health is preferred; however, all training will be provided.
• You will have a positive attitude and be highly motivated with the ability to encourage the people we support and promote their independence.
• Flexible with a can do attitude and have a real passion for making a difference in the lives of others.
• You will be willing to take part in the chosen activities of the people we support.

Responsibilities

• Providing personal care and emotional support.
• Supporting with 1 to 1 hours.
• Supporting activities within the service and also out in the community.
• Medication support.
• Cleaning and household duties.
