About The Position

We’re looking for a caring and dedicated Support Worker to support people with daily living skills and build meaningful connections in their communities. Requirements

  • You must hold a current full New Zealand Driver Licence
  • You must hold a current First Aid Certificate or be willing to obtain one.
  • Hold either the Level 4 New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing (or a recognised equivalent)
  • Able to be flexible and available for varying shifts.
  • Knowledge of, and demonstrable commitment to, the articles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi.

Responsibilities

  • Be busy supporting people with budgeting and independent daily living skills.
  • Attending appointments and advocating for people.
  • Might be assisting people to connect with their communities.
  • Be prepared to do whatever it takes for the people we support - cleaning, cooking, gardening, personal care or helping out with everyday tasks.
