Location : Dawlish Full-Time | £13.00 Per Hour (flat rate) 12-hour shifts (Days & Waking Nights) About Komplex Community Komplex Community provides high-quality, person-centred supported living services for adults with autism, learning disabilities, mental health needs, and behaviours that may challenge. Requirements
- A Full UK (manual) driving licence
- Compassion, resilience, and emotional intelligence
- Confidence working with individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and behaviours that challenge
- Basic IT skills for communication and record-keeping
- Flexibility to work across services in Shropshire and Staffordshire
- A team-first attitude and commitment to delivering person-centred care
Nice To Haves
- A minimum of one year’s experience working in care or support
Responsibilities
- Supporting individuals with essential daily tasks such as cooking, personal care, cleaning, and budgeting
- Encouraging independence and building confidence through meaningful activities and community access
- Being a calm, reliable presence during difficult times , offering emotional reassurance and structure
- Promoting routines and relationships that help people feel safe, respected, and included
- Monitoring and recording progress , recognising and celebrating small wins every day
- Working regular 12-hour shifts — including waking nights — to provide consistent and high-quality care
