Requirements

  • Ability to drive material delivery equipment is a manufacturing environment, training and certification will be provided.
  • General computer skills will be required for all Support Tech III jobs; training will be provided for the systems used within our operations.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior forklift experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus but not required.
  • Prior experience using a Kanban delivery system is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Operating a forklift supporting various manufacturing operations.
  • Assisting in the pouring of metal castings.
  • Warehouse roles including receiving, shipping, and warehouse operations.
  • Using forklifts and narrow aisle lift trucks to support various manufacturing operations.
  • Indirect support of manufacturing operations for large and small part replenishment to the various work centers.
  • Participating in daily 5S+1 activities maintaining a clean and organized work area to promote a safe work environment.
  • Delivery of large parts utilizing a powered industrial truck to various operations throughout Plant 15.
  • Utilizing radio communication and Mercury’s material replenishment system to deliver parts throughout the plant as requested to meet daily production needs.
  • Replenishment of parts utilizing a variety of equipment to/from our offsite warehouses to support daily manufacturing functions.
  • Receiving parts from our offsite warehouses utilizing Mercury’s material flow systems.
  • Shipping excess parts to our offsite warehouses.
  • Maintaining markets to support internal delivery needs.
  • Pouring operations include reviewing and completing documentation; operating the induction furnace, including filling with return and ingots, taking temperature readings, and removing slag; loading/unloading the furnace using the ladle; and moving props from the cart to the bins.
