About The Position

Thunderdome Restaurant Group is seeking experienced support team members for Bakersfield, a restaurant specializing in authentic Mexican street fare, tequila, and whiskey. Support team members are crucial to ensuring an excellent guest experience by upholding Thunderdome's quality and service standards. This role encompasses various functions, including bar back, host, food runner, and server assistant. The ideal candidate is passionate, driven, and eager to grow with the company. This position requires continuous physical activity, including bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, and moving items up to 50 pounds. Strong manual dexterity, auditory and visual skills, and the ability to follow instructions are essential.

Responsibilities

• Knowledgeable about our food and beverage offerings
• Maintains a clean and professional appearance
• Maintains a safe and clean environment for guests and team
• Greets our guests, answers phones and makes reservations
• Assists with carry out operations
• Supports service team with clearing, cleaning and resetting of tables
• Supports bar team with bar prep, stocking the bar and cleaning glassware
• Handles guests' requests and complaints professionally and ensures guest satisfaction
• Maintains a positive and cooperative team environment
