About The Position

We are looking for a wonderful FULL-TIME Support Teacher to join our faculty at Primrose South Elgin! This role offers an opportunity to foster curiosity, creativity, and compassion in children, helping them develop a lifelong love of learning. As a Support Teacher, you will help create a fun, safe environment for children as they explore and learn through purposeful play that nurtures their social, emotional, cognitive, creative, and physical development. You will build genuine relationships with each child, help them explore the world, improve their motor skills, and grow their vocabulary. Working with your co-teacher, you will implement lesson plans from the research-informed Balanced Learning® curriculum and maintain a well-kept classroom that encourages children to create, explore, and make decisions with confidence. At Primrose School of South Elgin, we provide all the tools and training to be successful. Our Balanced Learning® approach was developed with early learning experts and provides clear daily plans so you can focus your time in the classroom on forming connections with the children. Requirements

Minimum of high school diploma.
College students in the Early Childhood program are encouraged to apply and indicate this on resume.
