About The Position
Columbia Academy is seeking a Support Childcare Teacher to join their team. This role involves working collaboratively with teachers across various classrooms to create a positive and engaging learning environment that promotes the holistic development of children. The position offers a supportive environment with resources for teachers, education incentives, and career development programs. The ideal candidate has a love for working with children and possesses at least one MSDE certification.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must have at least 1 of the MSDE certs
- Ability to use standard office equipment such as a laptop computer and tablet
- Strong collaboration and communication skills are required.
- Patience, a nurturing attitude, and a sincere interest in the well-being and development of young learners are essential to this position.
Nice To Haves
- CDA, AA preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field, Preferred
- 2+ yrs of Experience required/preferred
