Requirements

• Commitment to living a Christ-centered lifestyle and modeling Christian values consistently.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong skills in communication, conflict resolution, and interpersonal relations.
• Ability to maintain patience and calmness in dynamic or challenging situations.
• Physical capability to stand, walk, and supervise children during active outdoor and indoor activities.
• Basic first aid and CPR certification, or willingness to obtain it shortly after hiring.
• Ability to enforce school safety rules and manage student behavior with kindness and firmness.
• Willingness to collaborate with school staff to support a Christ-centered environment.
• Demonstrated personal commitment to a Christ-centered lifestyle and the ability to model Christian values in daily interactions.
• Ability to handle conflicts patiently and with compassion.
• Ability to foster a positive, inclusive, and respectful environment.
• Calm and composed demeanor in dynamic or stressful situations.
• Ability to stand, walk, and supervise active children in various settings, including outdoor environments.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with children is preferred but not mandatory.
• Some post-secondary coursework or training in education, child development, or ministry-related fields.
• Previous experience in a faith-based school, childcare, or youth ministry setting.
• Advanced conflict resolution and behavior management skills.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a busy environment.
• Up-to-date first aid, CPR, and possibly other safety-related certifications.
• Experience working with diverse age groups and adapting supervision techniques accordingly.
• Demonstrated teamwork skills and ability to collaborate with a variety of school staff and parents.
