About The Position

Sponsors seeks to improve outcomes and opportunities for individuals with conviction histories and to assist individuals releasing from incarceration in their successful reintegration to our community. Community : We are stronger when everyone is able to fully participate and contribute. This posting is for a part-time on call position with a minimum of 13 hours. Regular shift hours will fall between 6am and 11am and between the days of Monday through Thursday. Additional shifts may be expected as needed based on department needs.

Requirements

  • Ability to work independently with little supervision
  • May work nights/weekends and holidays, depending on assigned shift
  • Knowledge of general safety procedures
  • Dependable and responsive to available on-call hours
  • High school equivalency
  • 1 year of customer service or support work experience with a social services agency preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred experience in a social advocacy role
  • Understanding of post-incarceration reentry program support

Responsibilities

  • Monitor common areas and individual housing units to ensure the safety, security and cleanliness of the facility.
  • Provide support services to program participants as assigned.
  • Ensure the safety and security of the Transitional Housing Program throughout the overnight shift when assigned.
  • Intra-Agency collaboration and communication.
  • Other Duties as Assigned.
