About The Position

Join our energetic team at Gimme's Par & Grill in downtown Grand Rapids as Part-Time Support Staff! The roles you will be trained on may include Host, Golf Associate, Food Runner and Busser with the expectation to master most, if not all roles! As a member of the support team, you'll play a critical role in keeping service flowing smoothly by assisting the service team. Every shift offers a unique experience, teamwork, and the chance to be part of a high-performance hospitality team. Pay starts at $13.73+ per hour plus tips, based on experience.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver freshly prepared food from the kitchen to tables and golf bays quickly and accurately
  • Maintain food quality and presentation standards
  • Communicate clearly with kitchen staff and servers
  • Assist with table maintenance
  • Keep service areas, expo stations, and golf bays clean and organized
  • Act with urgency and attention to detail during peak service times
  • Support servers and bartenders to ensure smooth, efficient service
  • Take pride and ownership in every guest's experience at Gimme's Par & Grill
  • Welcome patrons with enthusiasm
  • Multitask and prioritize seating arrangements
  • Interact with patrons to address inquiries, feedback, or concerns promptly and professionally
  • Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the dining area and restrooms
  • Assist guests with basic simulator troubleshooting and gameplay questions
  • Maintain golf simulators and bays, ensuring they are clean, reset, and guest-ready between reservations
  • Manage and organize golf clubs, balls, and other equipment; track usage and report issues promptly
