Our clinic is well designed in order to facilitate good work-flow and have space to grow. We are currently a 3 veterinarian practice, and we see patients from across the city and beyond for our specialty laparoscopic spays, and other procedures. We practice a fear free approach and are equipped with well rounded support staff and a great management team. Our clinic is equipped with two digital x-rays units for full body and dentistry cases, separate soft tissue and dental surgery suites, state of the art anesthetic monitors, patient warming units, plus all the other equipment needed to provide excellent care and service for the patients we love. We passionately serve our communities through partnerships with organizations that allow us to give back to animals and owners in need, especially Annex Cat Rescue and the Community Veterinary Outreach! About The Role Our new RVT or experienced job-trained technician will participate in surgery, dentistry, medical cases and appointments. We rely on our vet techs for patient care and client communication to educate pet parents on illness prevention, wellness matters, and diagnosis and treatment of illnesses and recovery, all under the supervision of our amazing veterinarians.

Requirements

AHT/VT Diploma (New grads welcome!)
Confidence in anesthesia monitoring, animal restraint, sample collection, taking various x rays
A strong desire to educate and build solid relationships with clients
Solid communication skills
Passion for what you do every day! Enthusiasm, energy and a positive attitude
1+ years of experience as an RVT, or 4+ years of experience as a non-registered/on-the-job trained technician

Responsibilities

Participate in surgery, dentistry, medical cases and appointments.
Provide patient care.
Communicate with clients to educate pet parents on illness prevention, wellness matters, and diagnosis and treatment of illnesses and recovery.
