The Support Specialist will act as the first point-of-contact for immediate client needs and requests, monitor and oversee the floor including communal areas, dorms, and showers, ensuring program guidelines are upheld and the site is well-maintained and safe. This role involves creating a supportive environment, facilitating client engagement activities, completing necessary documentation, developing trusting relationships with clients using a client-centered approach, intervening in crises, and working collaboratively with a team to provide comprehensive care to individuals experiencing homelessness, mental illness, and substance addiction. The specialist will maintain client confidentiality and adhere to agency, state, and HIPAA laws.
