About The Position

Raymour & Flanigan's Solution Center Team is searching for a highly skilled and motivated Computer Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate for this position has a strong understanding of desktop operating systems, routinely thinks outside the box to solve problems quickly and understands what impeccable customer service is all about.

Requirements

  • Must have strong time management skills and work productively with minimal supervision
  • Familiarity and understanding of the functions of basic computer hardware and software
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and a collaborative attitude are a must
  • Must have sound analytical thinking skills and attention to detail
  • Hands on experience with diagnosing and resolving basic technical issues
  • Customer-oriented and patient
  • Understanding of Microsoft and Apple operating systems
  • Able to read and understand technical manuals

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve technical hardware and/or software issues
  • Provide quick resolution and excellent customer service
  • Redirect unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel
  • Keep record of problems and their resolution
  • Follow-up with customers
  • Maintain technical documentation on installation of software, configuration of hardware and problem troubleshooting
  • Set up and configure computers and peripheral equipment such as printers, scanners, tablets, etc.
  • Respond to support requests and assist in troubleshooting any problems that arise
  • Maintain computer equipment and software to ensure secure and efficient operations
  • Perform additional functions that may be assigned at the discretion of management.
