About The Position

Taconic Biosciences is seeking a full-time Support Services Technician to join our dedicated Central Processing Area team at the Germantown, NY site. As a Support Services Technician in our Central Processing Area (CPA), you will play a vital role in supporting our animal production needs through a variety of cleaning, sterilizing, transporting, and processing procedures. You will work closely with the team to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and accurately, with opportunities to cross-train in different areas for a well-rounded experience.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
Minimum of 6 months of relevant work experience or equivalent training.
Effective communication skills and a willingness to learn.
Basic computer proficiency for documentation purposes (training provided).
Strong problem-solving abilities to tackle challenges as they arise.

Nice To Haves

Forklift and electric pallet jack experience a plus, but we will certify you!

Responsibilities

Operating autoclaves to sterilize assorted barrier supplies.
Operating forklift to move products and equipment to and from various locations.
Strategically process loads per delivery schedule to meet deadlines.
Load and unload autoclaves using pallet jack.
Move containers using pallet jack or forklift.
Assist in barrier start up.
Process assorted barrier laundry.
Load assorted barrier supplies into autoclavable containers.
Load feed containers.
