About The Position

The Support Services Specialist is responsible for performing daily duties throughout the building including build and break down cubicles, distribute toners for copiers and printers, move employees, assemble furniture, and set up and break down conference rooms. Additional work includes assistance to accounts receivable. SCHEDULE: This position will work a four-day work week, 10 hours day on Monday-Thursday and requires work to be performed on-site/in-office. Please note there is no remote work allowed. COMPENSATION: Hiring Range: $18.60 – $23.00 Hourly Compensation will be determined based on education, experience, and skills. Requirements

  • Education: High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
  • Experience: None
  • Certifications/Licenses: None
  • PLEASE NOTE THAT A VALID DRIVER’S LICENSE IS NEEDED FOR THIS POSITION AS DRIVING ON COUNTY BUSINESS IS REQUIRED.
  • Please note that physical requirements are needed for this role such as being able to lift up to 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Build and break down cubicles.
  • Work with Support Services Leads and Supervisor for additional assignments and coordination of duties.
  • Maintain inventory of equipment and furniture.
  • Order, receive and distribute supplies.
  • Follow directions to assemble furniture.
  • Set up conference rooms.
  • Drive county vehicle to and perform work at our Head Start locations.
  • Provide building support.
  • Prioritize workload to accomplish multiple demands.
  • Fill in, when necessary to provide mail courier services.
  • Relocate staff upon request and arrange timelines to be least disruptive to work flow.
  • Perform miscellaneous duties, such as food drive, toy drive and holiday decorations.
  • Provide support services to the Accounts Receivable department.
  • Maintain recycling.
  • Work collaboratively with other members of the department.
  • Handle other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
