Support Services Specialist, Health Information Management Department, Emergency Services Division, University of Iowa Health Care, Health Care Support Services Building (HSSB) The Department of Health Information Management at the University of Iowa Health Care is seeking a full-time, Support Services Specialist. This position will be responsible for medical record activities with primary duties to include releasing, scanning, importing and faxing confidential patient medical record information. This position location is in Coralville, IA and eligible to participate in remote work. Remote work must be performed at an offsite location within the State of Iowa. Training will be held ONSITE at the Health Care Support Services (HSSB) building at a length determined by the supervisor. Remote eligibility will be evaluated upon a satisfactory job training and meeting required performance standards. Successful candidates must comply with requirements of the remote work program and related policies. Per policy, work arrangements will be reviewed annually, and must comply with the remote work program and related policies and employee travel policy when working at a remote location. Successful candidates will be required to self-disclose any conviction history and will be subject to a criminal background check.
