Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or higher preferred.
  • Proven experience in a receptionist or administrative role, ideally within an industrial, manufacturing, or production environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional and approachable demeanor.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with office software and experience with visitor management or access control systems preferred.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Knowledge of basic plant safety procedures and PPE requirements is highly desirable.
  • Professionalism and strong customer service orientation.
  • Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe and secure workplace.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all incoming communications, including directing calls and inquiries to the appropriate departments or personnel.
  • Manage internal and external phone lines, maintaining accurate call logs and ensuring timely follow-up.
  • Greet visitors, contractors, and team members in a professional and welcoming manner, while ensuring compliance with company safety and security policies.
  • Facilitate the check-in process for visitors, associates, and contractors, including entering information into the visitor management system, verifying access credentials, and issuing badges.
  • Review and communicate safety requirements, including PPE guidelines, prohibited items, and plant-specific safety protocols.
  • Monitor and maintain exterior and interior security systems, including security cameras and access control systems.
  • Oversee the issuance and management of team members and contractor badges, including replacements for lost or damaged items.
  • Maintain accurate records in the visitor management database and cardholder access system, assigning appropriate access levels for new employees.
  • Monitor and manage inventory of PPE and safety supplies, ensuring availability for all plant personnel.
  • Ensure front desk operations adhere to all Logan safety, security, and regulatory standards.
  • Manage administrative building keys and coordinate access with authorized personnel.
  • Coordinate reservations and usage of Logan company vehicles, including reporting maintenance or service requirements.
  • Works part-time in the Team Member onsite store.  This includes assisting customers with purchases and processing transactions, managing inventory, stocking shelves and ordering additional merchandise. Additionally, they ensure the store remains clean, organized, and compliant with Logan policies, while supporting opening and closing procedures and contributing to a positive workplace experience.
  • Support plant operations with additional administrative tasks and special projects as assigned.
