About The Position

WeSPARK Cancer Support Center is seeking a compassionate and experienced Clinical Facilitator to lead support groups and conduct intake appointments for individuals impacted by cancer. WeSPARK provides a wide range of free support services for cancer patients, survivors, caregivers, and loved ones. Our support groups include ongoing treatment and metastatic support, post-treatment groups, breast cancer-specific groups, grief support, caregiver programs, and Spanish-speaking support groups.

Requirements

• LMFT or LCSW
• Minimum three years experience
• Copy of License to Practice
• Personal, Professional Liability Insurance minimum coverage limits $1,000,000/$2,000,000
• Strong clinical assessment skills
• Sensitivity to working with culturally diverse populations
• Good organizational, communication, verbal/written skills and time management skills
• Must be computer-literate and familiar with a basic level of electronic records

Nice To Haves

• Experience in the healthcare field
• Experience working with cancer patients and caregivers
• Fluent bilingual speaking and written (Spanish/English)

Responsibilities

• Lead support groups
• Conduct intake appointments for individuals impacted by cancer
• Identify clinical risks and respond appropriately
• Maintain standards of confidentiality (HIPAA)
• Maintain a positive, respectful and collaborative manner
• Maintain good communications to ensure others have the necessary information
• Demonstrate great compassion for individuals with cancer and their loved ones
