About The Position

The Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking an Experienced Support Engineering Data Specialist to join the KC-46 Provisioning Support team, based in Seattle, WA. In this role, you will develop, analyze, collect, and store various system support technical data elements and specifications to evaluate and make recommendations. You will provide recommendations on product supportability and establish operation maintenance tasks, resources, and support systems to achieve supportability requirements for multiple equipment subsystems. You will apply engineering technical standards, principles, theories, concepts, and techniques to support product support engineering and analysis to ensure supportability, sustainability, reliability, maintainability, and operability of products and services throughout its lifecycle. You will identify and analyze logistics support candidates from product definition and develop logistics support analysis records and reports. You will determine spares provisioning requirements for spare and replacement parts, levels, and stocking for multiple customers under a single contract type. You will prepare and maintain technical documentation for operating, testing, and maintaining aircraft systems/components. You will review and evaluate aircraft and/or fleet operational performance, reliability, and availability for a single airline customer, aircraft type, and system specialty. Requirements

  • 5 + years of experience working with aerospace industry specifications and standards, part and/or process requirements
  • 3+ years of experience gathering, preparing, and analyzing technical data for the development support products including logistics engineering, logistics support analysis, technical publications, support equipment, spares, provisioning, field services, maintenance, etc., supporting product lifecycle
  • 3 + years of experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
  • Successful Candidates for this job must satisfy the Company’s Conflict Of Interest (COI) assessment process.

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree
  • 1 + years’ experience working in a structured logistics database (such as SLICWave or PowerLOG-J)
  • 1+ years of experience in Provisioning
  • Experience working with multi-functional teams/organizations, suppliers, and customers
  • Experience working with or supporting military aircraft
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Products like Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and present findings to stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to identify problems, develop solutions, and implement changes in a fast-paced environment
