About The Position

TEKsystems Global Services is seeking 3x Support Engineers to provide software and network troubleshooting services to customers spanning multiple roles, skill sets, levels, and personalities. This team works within the Media & Entertainment industry supporting film postproduction. Most common tickets relate to issues with over 30 different software applications including Aspera, Okta Workflows, AWS (EC2, VMs), Active Directory, Moxion, Box storage, Studio Desk, Avid, and Adobe.

  • Identity administration. All the "customers" these techs will be supporting are working for the production companies. These are 3rd party production companies, and these techs will help to set up their identities in Okta. They are supposed to make sure they are using the correct tools with the right permissions and can get work done.

Nice To Haves

  • Understanding Windows Admin would be helpful.
  • Active Directory > adds/changes/decommissioning would be helpful but not required

Responsibilities

  • You have a strong aptitude for troubleshooting and problem solving.
  • You have a strong obsession to service the customers best interests.
  • You maintain SLA’s through the implementation of incident management process, proactive issue detection and reporting.
  • You can setup and configure monitoring systems to prevent prolonged outages.
  • You have foundational knowledge of networking and web technologies and customer service.
  • You write and review accurate and complete support procedures, system and process documentation, and incident tracking entries.
  • You show good judgment and instincts in decision making.
  • Able to prioritize and multi-task in complex, fast-paced environment.
  • You solve problems at their root, stepping back to understand the broader context.
  • Application support of over 30 production applications. They will be supporting the backend and user interface.
  • Infrastructure Support/Systems Admin skill set
  • Will have access to some of the servers, understanding Windows Admin would be helpful.
