About The Position

Superior Beverage Group is a family-owned and operated company that has been around since 1922. Support CDL A Delivery Drivers use company vehicles to deliver beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages to retail accounts on assigned routes throughout Northeastern and Central Ohio. Drivers read and understand maps, complete daily driver logs, and perform pre- and post-trip truck inspections. The role is fast-paced and physical, and requires working in varied weather conditions, including hot or cold and wet or dry conditions. The schedule is Monday through Friday, starting at 5:00 a.m. and continuing until deliveries are finished. The position is based in Mansfield–Lexington, Ohio, and is full time. The listed pay is $25.00 per hour, and the posting offers a $1,000 sign-on bonus.

Requirements

Valid CDL A license.
Ability to maneuver 168-pound kegs and 35-pound cases at delivery locations.
Solid math skills.
Ability to read and understand a map.
Ability to complete pre- and post-trip inspections and driver logs.
Ability to operate company trucks, forklifts, and equipment dolly.
Ability to perform duties in varied outdoor weather conditions.

Responsibilities

Complete the assigned delivery route in the established sequence and within time constraints.
Rotate company products at retail accounts.
Accurately calculate amounts due and collect payment for delivered products at each account.
Complete required paperwork during driver check-in at the end of the daily route.
Complete pre- and post-trip inspections and driver logs.
Operate company trucks, forklifts, and equipment dolly.
