About The Position
This position is part of Union SEIU - D. Assists the Rehabilitation staff in the provision of patient care and supports departmental operations.
Requirements
- CPR – American Heart Association
- Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
- Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate
- Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
- Ability to read, write and perform basic computer skills
Nice To Haves
- Prior healthcare experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Assists Rehabilitation staff with therapy treatments as directed and in accordance with department policies, procedures and regulatory guidelines, which may include transport of patients, records, equipment or supplies. (60%)
- Participates in non-patient care activities to facilitate efficient functioning of the department such as preparing and cleaning the work area and equipment, clerical support activities, maintaining inventory, and participation in program development and staff education. (40%)
- Performs other duties as assigned or required.
