Micah Projects offers a range of support and advocacy services to individuals and families. The Family Connections approach, developed over 25 years in the USA, focuses on prevention and intervention sciences to support families in reducing risk factors and increasing protective factors. This strength-based, systems-oriented approach involves in-home family support, tailored assessments, and outcome-driven service plans. The organization is seeking a dynamic and experienced Family Support and Advocacy Practitioner to join the Family Connection team. This role will provide in-home, tailored family support to families experiencing severe disadvantage, complex challenges, and a high risk of escalating child protection involvement. The program utilizes an adaptation of the Family Connections USA approach and the Common Assessment Tool. This is a full-time position at Level 4 of the SCHADS Award.
