Elderwood at Hamburg is hiring Support Aides who are interested in gaining healthcare experience and advancing into our paid Certified Nursing Assistant Training Program. This opportunity may be a strong fit for nursing students, Home Health Aides, Personal Care Aides, former CNAs, or individuals entering healthcare for the first time. Previous healthcare experience is not required—we’ll help you build the skills and experience needed to grow. Begin as a Support Aide. Build Toward CNA Certification. As a Support Aide, you’ll gain valuable experience supporting residents and working alongside our nursing team. Qualified Support Aides may then be selected to enter Elderwood’s paid CNA Training Program. Once selected for the program, you will receive: Three weeks of paid CNA training, Pay while attending required classes and clinical experiences, Hands-on preparation for the CNA certification exam, CNA certification exam costs covered by Elderwood, The opportunity to transition into a CNA position with increased responsibilities and pay after successfully completing the program and obtaining certification. Your first role at Elderwood can become the beginning of a long-term nursing career: Support Aide → CNA → LPN → RN → Nursing Leadership. Eligible employees may also apply for full-tuition scholarship opportunities at Trocaire College for: Practical Nursing (LPN), Registered Nursing (RN), RN-to-BSN.
