About The Position

Nucor Steel Nebraska is seeking a Supply Warehouse Rover to provide excellent customer service while supporting warehouse operations. The role includes helping teammates find and issue parts, shelving parts, maintaining housekeeping and organization, cycle counting, using a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS), and operating equipment such as overhead cranes and forklifts as required. Other duties may be assigned. The Rover will temporarily fill the Supply Warehouse Counterperson position when it is vacant and, if successful, will be awarded the Counterperson position permanently. Candidates must be willing to work rotating shifts and scheduled or unscheduled overtime, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Safety is emphasized across all Nucor jobs; candidates must be able to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States; Nucor will not sponsor a visa now or in the future.

Requirements

Must be willing to work rotating shifts and scheduled or unscheduled overtime, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Nice To Haves

Experience with IFS and Oracle.
Experience in a supply warehouse.

Responsibilities

Assist teammates in finding and issuing parts.
Shelve parts.
Maintain general housekeeping and organization.
Perform cycle counting.
Use the CMMS system.
Operate overhead cranes, forklifts, and other equipment as required.
Temporarily fill the Supply Warehouse Counterperson position when it is vacant.
