About The Position

Systems Application & Technologies, Inc. (SA-TECH) is seeking to hire a Supply Technician based out of our site located at the US Army's National Training Center at Fort Irwin, CA. The Supply Technician will perform aspects of technical supply management work (e.g., inventory management, storage management, cataloging, and property utilization) related to depot, local, or other supply activities. This will involve using and understanding governing supply systems, programs, policies, nomenclature, work methods, manuals, or other established guidelines and will support the needs of a variety of organizations. Other responsibilities include using analysis to define or recognize the dimension of problems as they arise, collecting the necessary data to establish facts, and taking or recommending action based upon application or interpretation of established guidelines.

Requirements

High School diploma at a minimum.
More than five (5+) years of Military and/or Defense Contracting supply and property control experience.
Forklift license
Class B or A CDL
Current Driver’s License required; must be able to be insured through company’s vehicle insurance policy while driving work/government/rental vehicles during working hours, and for the duration of employment.
U.S. Citizenship required.
Must be able to obtain a U.S. DoD Security Secret Clearance prior to start date and maintain a Secret clearance throughout employment.
All candidates will be required to pass background screening to include SSN, Driver Record, and Criminal Background Investigation.

Nice To Haves

Experience tracking standard and non-standard US Government material (NSN & non-NSN items).
Experience with maintenance database input and data entry.
Local purchase execution and tracking.
