About The Position

This Non-Appropriated Fund (NAF) position is assigned to the Resource Management Flight at JBER, Alaska. It is a regular full-time position with a continuous schedule of at least 35 hours per week and up to 40 hours per week. The role manages supply, inventory, property, and logistics functions for the organization, including the receipt, storage, control, and issuance of expendable and nonexpendable items. It also supports NAFI program property inventories, conducts safety and facility inspections, makes scheduled deliveries, and operates vehicles and warehouse equipment.

Requirements

Complete a background investigation with favorable results.
Hold a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or be able to obtain one within six months of employment.
Possess or obtain and maintain a valid state driver's license from one of the 50 U.S. states or possessions to operate vehicles.
Satisfactorily complete a pre-employment drug test and be subject to random drug testing.
Satisfactorily complete a pre-employment physical due to the position's physical lifting requirement.
Meet the stated U.S. citizenship or U.S. territorial residency eligibility condition.
Have experience providing knowledge of standardized supply regulations, policies, procedures, or instructions related to assigned functions.
Be familiar with one or more automated supply databases for entering, correcting, and retrieving recurring and specialized reports.
Know the structure of the local supply organization and the organizations it serves.
Be able to perform standard clerical assignments and resolve recurring problems.
Have experience demonstrating knowledge and skill in operating and maintaining a variety of motor vehicles.
Education cannot substitute for the required experience.

Responsibilities

Monitor stock levels, establish or adjust levels, and reorder stock using prescribed procedures.
Conduct physical inventories and maintain or adjust inventory and property account records.
Prepare, edit, and process requisitions to supply organizations.
Search catalogs, records, and other sources to obtain or correct stock numbers and identify authorized substitutes.
Process stock receipt documentation; store and issue items; maintain local stock records; and prepare standard reports.
Identify requirements for office and administrative supplies, forms, publications, and printed materials, and requisition, issue, or distribute them.
Maintain accounting and reporting systems for nonexpendable property and perform standardized property management controls.
Work with program managers to conduct annual property inventories at NAFI programs.
Serve as the focal point for inventory control, management, and disposition of inventory accessible to Squadron personnel.
Examine received items for overages, shortages, or shipping damage and prepare required forms.
Perform, document, and track OSHA, fire, safety, and facility inspections in accordance with applicable directives and policies.
Maintain Safety Data Sheets for stocked chemical solutions.
Pick up and deliver supplies, amenities, and property items to work centers at scheduled intervals.
Maintain a government purchase card for purchasing vehicle parts and supplies.
Maintain and operate forklifts and provide vehicle training, including forklift training, to Squadron personnel as needed.
Operate warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks, dollies, banding equipment, and power and air tools.
Salvage or repair broken property items in accordance with applicable directives and policies.
Maintain physical safeguards, cleanliness, and safety standards within Logistics operations.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
