About The Position

K2 Solutions, Inc. is seeking an experienced Supply Technician to provide warehouse, supply, and property accountability support to the United States Army Special Operations Command (USASOC) at Fort Bragg, NC. The Supply Technician will support Property Control Activity (PCA) operations involving the receipt, storage, issue, inventory, accountability, and movement of government equipment and materiel. The position requires knowledge of Army supply operations and applicable training or experience with the Global Combat Support System-Army (GCSS-Army). The ideal candidate will be dependable, detail-oriented, customer-focused, and capable of working effectively in both warehouse and Army property accountability environments.

Requirements

Applicable training or demonstrated experience with GCSS-Army or applicable predecessor/legacy Army logistics systems.
Knowledge of basic Army supply management principles and regulatory requirements.
Ability to obtain and maintain the security clearance required for the position.
Ability to independently operate a computer and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to drive/operate government-owned commercial vehicles up to a Class non-CDL vehicle and applicable material-handling equipment.
Ability to obtain and maintain required forklift certification.
Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds for a distance of up to 30 feet without assistance.
Ability to perform work requiring frequent walking, lifting, kneeling, crouching, stooping, and other physical activity associated with warehouse operations.
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate supply and property accountability records.
Ability to work effectively with military, government civilian, and contractor personnel.
Must be able to provide required GCSS-Army certification within 10 business days of hire, as applicable.

Responsibilities

Receive, inspect, inventory, store, issue, and prepare government equipment and materiel for shipment or distribution.
Verify part numbers, stock numbers, quantities, serial numbers, condition codes, completeness, serviceability, and supporting documentation.
Perform supply management and property accountability functions involving property requests, receipts, storage, issue, inventory, transfers, turn-ins, and accountability.
Conduct and review property book transactions in GCSS-Army.
Reconcile authorization documents, Primary Hand Receipts, and property records.
Prepare and process applicable Army supply documentation, including DA Form 4949, DA Form 3161, and DD Form 1348-1.
Post standard and non-standard Line Item Number (LIN) equipment and associated serial numbers in GCSS-Army.
Ensure issue and turn-in documentation is complete, accurate, and legible.
Assist with identifying excess property for redistribution, internal cross-leveling, or turn-in.
Utilize FMSWeb, AESIP/LDAC applications, Army Vantage, GCSS-Army, and other applicable Army logistics systems.
Prepare materiel for shipment using appropriate material-handling methods and equipment to prevent damage or discrepancies.
Conduct physical inventories and maintain accurate supply, property, and accountability records.
Maintain files and documentation in accordance with applicable Army regulations, policies, technical manuals, and standard operating procedures.
Operate government-owned vehicles and material-handling equipment, including forklifts, as required.
Coordinate with supported units to resolve property accountability and supply-related issues.
Provide timely, professional, and courteous customer assistance to government personnel and supported organizations.
Perform other warehouse and supply duties as required in support of the USASOC mission.
