About The Position

TSI Federal (TSIF) is seeking a Supply Technician/Traffic Management. This role requires leadership and managerial skills to oversee daily operations and personnel in Supply and Traffic Management. The individual will work directly under the Material Coordinator, performing technical supply management tasks including inventory, storage, and equipment management for FB and FE accounts. Responsibilities also include planning, coordinating, and forecasting movement requirements, ensuring compliance with USAF guidance, and managing cargo movement. The position involves receiving, identifying, labeling, and packaging items, determining transportation feasibility, and managing all equipment items on the Equipment Authorized/In-use Details (EAID), excluding vehicles. The role requires processing inputs for organizational records in the Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS) and conducting Annual Organizational Visits (AOV) to validate Capital Asset Reporting. Additionally, the position involves compiling reports, briefing leadership, and conducting quarterly training classes on various equipment and supply management topics.

Requirements

  • At least 4 years of experience with Air Force support in Traffic Management or Material Management.
  • Working knowledge of processing classified assets and hazardous material.
  • Knowledgeable of all applicable regulations.
  • Possess or have the ability to obtain a SECRET security clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • HAZMAT certification or able to pass online course within 30 days of employment.
  • Associate’s degree in Material Management or Traffic Management or higher is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage operation across multiple functions.
  • Supervise daily activities of Supply and Traffic Management operations and personnel.
  • Perform day-to-day Supply and Traffic Management operations.
  • Perform technical supply management work (e.g., inventory management, storage management, Equipment Management).
  • Ensure effective and efficient management of all items included in the FB and FE accounts.
  • Plan, coordinate, forecast and/or maintain in transit visibility of movement requirements using automated systems.
  • Ensure supply activities comply with published USAF guidance and policy.
  • Plan and/or coordinate cargo movement requirements.
  • Receive, identify, label and package items for shipment and storage.
  • Determine transportation feasibility of cargo movement requirements.
  • Manage all equipment items maintained on Equipment Authorized/In-use Details (EAID) with the exception of vehicles.
  • Research, prepare, and process inputs to add, change, or delete organizational records for host, satellite and geographically separated units.
  • Process input transactions in the Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS) database for equipment assets that are received, added, deleted or shipped.
  • Conduct Annual Organizational Visits (AOV) on base organizations containing EAID assets and validate Capital Asset Reporting.
  • Compile report and brief LRS/CC and organization commanders on results.
  • Conduct quarterly Supply Block Training classes on Equipment Management, Bench Stock Management, Repair Cycle Management, Special Purpose Recoverable Authorized Maintenance (SPRAM).
