This role requires effective communication with mechanics and vendors, processing purchase requests for repair parts and services for both commercial and military equipment. A significant portion of the work week (85% or more) involves computer-based tasks, including processing paperwork and adhering to established procedures. While the specifics of processes and computer systems are trainable, a strong mechanical background and aptitude for processes are beneficial. The supported equipment includes HMMWVs, trailers, all-terrain vehicles, forklifts, and generators.
