Our Values Respect | Belonging | Accountability | Transparency Department Logistics Services Job Summary Under general supervision, assists in the performance of Inventory Control Technician functions includes maintaining appropriate inventory levels and making recommendations for the replenishment of all OR supplies.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 1-3 years inventory experience in an operating room or healthcare setting. required
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively relay information in the appropriate format.
  • Ability to interact with the customers and provide excellent customer service.
  • Must have a high attention to detail.
  • Ability to perform basic math.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of inventory management, purchasing, and warehouse operations preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Receives and stocks supplies for OR storeroom, organizes and maintains OR storeroom. (25%)
  • Maintains inventory accuracy for OR storeroom by binning and picking merchandise utilizing the inventory management system. (25%)
  • Completes stock audits, works inventory exceptions and corrects stock errors. (25%)
  • Communicates with OR staff regarding requisitions for supply items and works to resolve any delivery issues. (25%)
