About The Position

Technica is seeking to hire a Supply Technician Lead to support Operations at Fort Riley. This position leads in all aspects of technical management work (e.g., inventory management, storage management, cataloging, property utilization) related to depot, local, or other supply activities. The work generally involves individual case problems or supply actions. This work may require consideration of program requirements, together with specific variations in or from standardized guidelines. The candidate is required to comply with all SOPs and SEAM – Soldier Equipping Asset Management, adhere to all Safety policies, and comply with environmental Laws/Regulations, Army Regulations/Policies, and SEAM – Soldier Equipping Asset Management /Policies, related to depot, local, or other supply activities.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 18 years of age or older
  • Valid state driver's license
  • Must be a US Citizen or US permanent resident for more than 3 years in order to obtain NACI and CAC Card eligibility.
  • Must be able to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time.
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
  • Must be computer literate.
  • Must have 3 years of experience.
  • Must have a good working knowledge of the governing supply systems, programs, policies, nomenclature, work methods, manuals, or other established guidelines.
  • Must be able to work in a team environment including working in hot, dusty, windy areas for prolong time periods.
  • Be able to pick up and movement items within a 50 lbs. restriction
  • Be capable of climbing and working on equipment at a 10 feet above ground limit
  • Be capable of using and understanding Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening and background checks related to the position.

Nice To Haves

  • Associates degree preferred.
  • Former US Army MOS 92A or 92Y preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Leads in all aspects of technical management work (e.g., inventory management, storage management, cataloging, property utilization) related to depot, local, or other supply activities.
  • Responsible for daily stock control functions and maintaining communication with all SSAs and higher, receive, issue, count sheets, FOI, processing locations, location surveys.
  • Establish work priorities, monthly reconciliations, maintain accountability for sensitive items.
  • Responsible for maintaining warehouse filing system and key control system.
  • Provide customer assistance when necessary, by resolving their problems or directing them to the proper personnel (i.e. Execution managers from depots, DLA/GSA) for getting correct problem resolution.
  • Other duties as assigned or related to the overall operation of the section/branch that the position is assigned to perform in.
