About The Position

Tessera is seeking an intelligent and groundbreaking Supply Technician with a professional attitude. The Supply Technician performs limited aspects of technical supply management work (e.g., inventory management, storage management, cataloging and property utilization) related to depot, local or other supply activities. The role provides Property Book support services to organizations assigned to Futures and Concept Center and is responsible for all aspects of property accountability of equipment stored, issued, turned-in and lateral transferred to and from the FCC. The technician will operate the WASP Barcode Technology system for property accountability, assist the warehouse section with property management, and help with scheduled inventories. Additionally, the role involves processing DA Forms 3161 and 2765 for all issues and turn-ins, processing lateral transfers, and maintaining formal property accountability in accordance with AR 710-1 and AR 735-5. The technician will review all WASP transactions for accuracy, monitor daily transactions, and verify abstractor input. The role also includes processing equipment found on post, providing technical assistance in matters relating to requisition, storage, and disposal of supplies and equipment, and providing monthly workload data. The technician will also process DA Form 2765 for turn-ins to SSA.

Requirements

Have a good working knowledge of the governing supply systems, programs, policies, nomenclature, work methods, manuals, or other established guidelines.
Understand the needs of the organization serviced.
Have the analytical ability to define or recognize the dimension of the problems involved, to collect the necessary data to establish the facts and take or recommend action based upon application or interpretation of established guidelines.
WASP Barcode Training
A valid state driver’s license is required with the ability to obtain and maintain coverage by Tessera’s insurance.
Must be able to obtain and maintain applicable security clearances and installation access.
A background check and E-Verify will be conducted for this position.
Must be able to obtain and maintain Secret Clearance/Access including a common access card (CAC).
Access to a federal military installation requires a REAL ID-compliant driver's license or an acceptable alternative, such as a U.S. passport or military ID, in accordance with the REAL ID Act.

Responsibilities

Provide Property Book support services to organizations assigned to Futures and Concept Center.
