About The Position

Tessera is seeking a dedicated and reliable Supply Specialist with a positive attitude. The Supply Specialist is responsible for executing a broad range of logistical functions in support of Army operations, with emphasis on purchasing, property accountability, and warehouse management. This position requires a comprehensive understanding of U.S. Army supply chain procedures and proficiency in systems such as GCSS-Army, PBUSE, Maximo, and Workday. Requirements

  • Basic working knowledge of storage and inventory control procedures
  • Ability to receive, store, issue, ship, turn-in, and inspect materials and stock
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Internet Explorer, and Maximo
  • Ability to operate warehouse equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills when working with suppliers and internal teams
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain installation security clearance and a Common Access Card (CAC).
  • Access to this federal military installation requires a REAL ID-compliant driver's license or an acceptable alternative, such as a U.S. passport or military ID, in accordance with the REAL ID Act.
  • OSHA Forklift Operator Certification required or ability to obtain one within 90 days.

  • Familiarity with GCSS Army, DCMA PCARS, E-Tools, and government purchasing preferred

Responsibilities

  • Process supply requests, create purchase orders, and coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services
  • Monitor stock levels, conduct regular cycle counts, and maintain accurate records using systems like Maximo, GCSS-Army, and Workday
  • Prepare and maintain detailed records of transactions, receipts, and property transfers; generate reports for audits and leadership review
  • Track and manage government and company-owned property, ensuring compliance with Army regulations and internal policies
  • Receive, store, and issue supplies and equipment; maintain organized and secure storage areas; support tool and equipment management
  • Assist with internal and external audits, reconcile discrepancies, and ensure all documentation meets regulatory standards
  • Operate supply chain software platforms to input data, scan documents, and manage workflow efficiently
  • Communicate with internal teams and external partners to resolve supply issues and support operational needs
